What a motley looking, ragtag outfit; That is why it is so cool looking now, although at the time the liquidation of the RI must have been terrible. This photo captures the scene well. Thanks for sharing.

Who would have imagined that this 1952 locomotive would last on the C&NW/UP roster as their 4157 for well over 20 years after this photo was taken!
