Dave, welcome to the Gorge in the winter. It can be sunny everywhere else in the Pacific Northwest, but not in the Gorge!

My first visit to the Gorge last October was to almost identical conditions to this one, and it just so happens that I also shot Amtrak from this exact location. Nice shot.

This is David Honan at its best! You know how to make the most of a location even in the worst of light conditions

Really nicely done imagery, David. Captures the Pacific northwest at it's best.

Very atmospheric. Bad weather CAN work. I particularly like the cloud hanging around the nountainsides in the distance.

David, I just discovered this fantastic shot. Nicely done! I have a similar shot on RailPics, but on a beautiful bright sunny day. Yours is better, clouds, rain and all... Much better! Well done!
