The way things seem to be any more, odds are the person being "apprehended" IS ANOTHER RAILFAN JUST TRYING to GET SOME PHOTOS.

Since all criminals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law (to quote Cops), I won't go into the exact details of what took place. But the man arrested was not a railfan and it was a felony offense.

I'll bet that the guy was trying to steal railroad ties and tie them on his roof for personal landscaping...
