Wonderful photo Jim....I did some research and these were brand new in May,56 purchased for the "Cities"trains and Hiawatha service. I've rarely seen photos of these when they were brand new and numbered in the 200 series. They did spend more time on the Denver/Portland trains then going to LA. When I was young I always spent more time watching the UP E's at CHI Union Station then looking at the Milwaukees. I was fortunate to get to fire and run these in the mid to late sixties and early 70's both in passenger and in TOFC service.
