Nice shot Frank! What was the deal with these cars? I know during 06, & 07 lots were scrapped at various points. This is a odd location for these to be down there...

All I can say is; wow! A stunning photograph. It leaves me wondering if these cars are road-safe. I think I've seen old storage-shed boxcars in better condition.

These cars are like old horses, worn and swaybacked, but still with some work left in them.

Very nicely done. The composition, the B&W, the cross bucks and the Vulcan sign all work well together to make an outstanding train shot sans head end power!

What is the white dot on the road right in front of the double yellow line? A flare maybe?
