Great shot of the 952, Rick, and thanks for sharing it with us. I will be sending a postcard of your image to the engineer who was running the 952 that day. Mr. Larry D. LeCrone hired on with the Wabash in May 1959, and will retire the end of this month with over 50 years of service to the Wabash, Norfolk & Western and Norfolk Southern. Larry, I wish you a long, happy and healthy retirement and nothing but clear blocks ahead! I'll miss your smiling face, friendly wave and your unique whistling whenever you would spot me working along the Lafayette District...

Great photo. Larry will be happy to know that was originally a Wabash Railroad bridge that was frequently used in the 1950's for WAB marketing pictures & promotional shots.
