They even replaced the trestle on the Granite Falls. The thing is, GN never did much to their branch lines. Their mainlines were from Minneapolis to Moorhead, and from Minneapolis to Watertown, SD.
This one looks like a late 1930' bridge. The newer girder span is an obvious sign of future replacement. But as of July 2010, it has been replaced. Very sad.
