Amtrak's 'Rainbow Era' and subsequent early years of operation were quite colorful and interesting. Amtrak EMD E/F-series, EMD F40PH, EMD SDP40F, and GE P30CH diesel-electric locomotives coupled to heritage-series consists made for some interesting times. Thanks for sharing John.
