I can still remember the days when engines just like this one rolled by my house headed from Durham,NC to Lynchburg,VA.It is so sad the line is now abandoned from Durham to just south of Roxboro.The children and I walked down some of the old Durham line roadbed just the other day.If only my children could have seen engines like these in the days NW used them as front line.
