Wouldn't it be great to have that KCS pick-up to the left of 29?

This locomotive was wrecked one month later in Essen, Louisiana (South Baton Rouge) in a headon collision with train number 42. The Southern Belle was to take the siding, but do to the fog, over ranned the North switch at Essen and collided with the 109, a GP30 on train number 42. The 109 will later be rebuilt and be the first GP30 to be painted in the standard KCS white paint scheme.
