Awesome catch Ron...I remember having one of those working in my yard down in New Orleans nearly a decade ago when working for the NS and thinking how cool they were. Nice to see they're still out polishing the rails in some obscure places.

Nice shot Ron. Only one thing bothers me, And that is the aerodynamic cab. Still looks like it would have the drag coefficiency of the standard cab.

Nice shot of a very rare unit. In my 17 years of railfanning NS I've only caught this unit one time. As for reducing aerodynamic drag, EMD should have dimpled it like a golf ball. It worked for Mythbusters.
