It's nice to see a clean P42DC for a change. The forward view from the Great Dome is somewhat restricted however due to the height of the P42, a coach or baggage car behind the power would help. Thanks for your posting Marc.

Those decals are very, very tacky. That car deserved a good cleaning so its stainless steel couls shine as it is supposed to. Amtrak is not going out of their way to endear itself to railfans and it is not going to get better any time soon as the power of poor taste continues to trump good taste.
