If it weren't for the car hiding behind the tree, I would have guessed late '30s, early '40s. PCA nomination regardless. Young boy, composition, and end result make it deserving.

I used this railroad crossing for photos several times during Train Fest 2009, but didn't get fabulous results like this! Excellent photo.
