Both the FP7 and the New Yorker are nicely shined up and look better than most machines their age.

This low angle highlights the daylight showing between the front truck and the battery box/fuel tank, marking the extra four foot length of an FP7, compared to a straight F7. The added length allows up to four optional boiler water tanks, both within and under the carbody, to increase the unit's range in passenger service between water stops. Nice composition with the restored Chrysler, too.
