Some of the spotting features on that unit suggest that it is a very late model SD40-2. Do you know when it was built and if it's original to this road?

I'm surprised that they used a unit from the movie in the lead. Wonder if they were calling AWVR reporting marks over the radio to designate the ownership, or if they called it as WLE?

Scott this unit was born as "Nacionales de Mexico" 13001 one of the last sd40-2 built
