I believe the Winton engine was used in the Flying Yankee, which is currently being totally rebuilt. Google, Flying Yankee, to see how much of the restoration has been done. There are photos of the engine and it's parts. Also included are interior photos of the Budd car structures, and other components.

If that engine was used for the Flying Yankee, how did the crew get into the cab up front? Thats a V-12, the engine should have been a straight 8 201A for the Flying Yankee and Pioneer Zephyr, Im wondering if that engine might be used for parts to restore the SC switcher in the IRM back lot?
