Posted by Chris Nuthall on September 26, 2009  Although very much based on the UK BR HST power cars, with the same Brush Traction equipment and (originally) Valenta engine, the Australian versions were designed and built by Comeng (later ABB) at their Dandenong factory in Melbourne.
