Folks, look carefully here. NS SD40-2s won't be doing this forever. Downgraded (By horsepower) SD50s, called SD40Es are taking over in the helper pool. The footbridge at 12th Street is a fine platform for photography. The SD40-2s are old and by their commonality, we tend to believe they'll last forever. But they are mere machines. Machines do not last forever. In some cases, it only seems like some machines last forever.
