Nice shot, this unit will be making the sa,e trip again starting tomorrow, Oct27-2013. Is this segment still jointed rail??

The mainline through the middle of Wylie was still jointed rail as of the fall of 2011. East of Wylie and from Wylie to Dallas is ribbon rail.
