1978? Here, I was hoping there was a new GG1 display I could photograph. Cool shot - hard to believe this was an everyday event. Thanks for sharing.

Great shot. I can remember seeing these at Newark Penn Station in New Jersey when I was a teen in the mid 70's.

It's always interesting to see an 1930's-40's era locomotive hauling a somewhat modern passenger train. Excellent shot!
