Thanks for the memories John. I remember spending many a summer morning and/or afternoon shooting off that bridge while on Chicago Line "road trips" during the Conrail years. Great photo!

Beautiful locomotives, too bad Conrail's no longer their own railroad, but I'm sure Norfolk Southern is taking good care of the majority of their old locos.

Palitine Bridge used to have four tracks through it. I have a shot with three tracks in place. This is a nice place to see and photograph trains. These C40s are still holding on. Now that some of the GEVOS are shooting turbo parts through the long hood, earlier GEs like these will be in more demand.
