This looks impressive, but quite frankly, it is an engineer's nightmare. It takes forever to apply/release the independent brake on a locomotive consist like this. I can't imagine that all of these locomotives are on line. There are very definite restrictions on Equivalent Powered Axles and Equivalent Dynamic Brake Axles. Twelve locomotives on line is a good way to suck a draw bar right out of its pocket; or set your train sideways with too much buff forces on a downhill grade. Besides, in this era of cost-cutting, something like this would have at least half the consist isolated or shut down for fuel conservation.

Thanks all for the comments and information. It looks like the units 1, 2 4 & 5 were online. Not sure if 6 was but 3 was off.
