I remember the PRSL passenger trains from Camden and still can recite the station master's call for that service: "Train for Gloucester, Brooklawn, Westville, Woodbury, Wenonah, Sewell, Pitman, Glassboro, Clayton, Franklinville, Newfield, Vineland and Millville now arriving on track one"! I used to embark at Camden and disembark at Woodbury. I can still remember on occasion being pulled by steam - Reading pacifics - and I swear they must have been operating on the PRSL into the late 50's (in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if some of those G1sa's were not operating there after the "official" termination of all Reading steam in 1956. Then, in 1967, I would ride over the crossing in your pic in a coach, but on the CNJ track. High Iron Co. ran a steam excursion pulled by CNR 4-6-2 #1286 from Elizabethport to Bridgeton, NJ on the old CNJ line through the pine barrens.
