Those Electroliners are some of the most beautiful sets ever built, thank you for posting pictures. I am in England but I clearly remember reading an article in Trains Magazine in the early 80's which engaged my interest, one that I have never lost. It must have been a magical ride back in the day. Again, thank you.

A wonderful image. But it sort of reminds me old pictures where one of those early "Zephyr" or "City Of..." streamliners, was being towed by a steam locomotive, following some mechanical breakdown. I hope this Electroliner will eventually run again, and maybe the IRM can persuade the CTA to run it around The Loop for a weekend, as a museum fundraiser!
