Great shot, Chris. Love those 40's.
Actually, I think the cab controls are on the correct side as these engines were set up for long hood forward running. Am I correct, fellas?

Christopher - these ex N&W units were set up for longhood forward operation. The C39-8's were the same way. Nice shot, Chris; especially with the engineer's hand being on the throttle.
