What a great composition! All the elements of a good RR shot are present: the rule of thirds, motion, and context. I am guessing by the date, physical location, and movement of the train (NB>WB off of the Parmele SD onto the Tarboro SD) that this photo was taken mid morning. I am rather envious of the kid-friendly place to watch trains in the foreground. They are very few and far between up my way (Southwest Ohio).
