Steve, great shot. I think I have yet to see one of these rebuilds. They sure do look awful weird.

Does that say Caterpillar power? Cool! I like how this loco looks, it's like the reincarnation of the SD45. Very neat locomotive and photo.

I wonder what's in the tall box located below the engineer's front window. Cab signal equipment was located in this location on some locomotives, but the housing was much smaller.

The tall "box" in front of the engineers window is the battery compartment.
