I'm no expert, but that seems to be the wrong tender also. A slopeback would be right, no?

The tender seems to be of PRR design, but true, a slope back would be more typical with an 0-6-0. This sort of tender would be more fitting with a 4-4-2 or 2-8-0.

Nick - Thanks for sharing this unique view from the past. Without a Belpaire firebox, she sure could pass for a locomotive from another railroad. Any idea where the builder's plates are? They would clearly define her heritage. I agree with previous comments provided. Her tender looks Pennsy, but not originally assigned to this little lady.

To my knowledge, this old girl is beyond repair. I think they may redo the paint within the next couple of years.

It's funny that during Railcamp, we're on our way to Wilimington for Amtrak and as soon as I se this engine, everyone jumped to the other side of the bus to get a picture!
