It is interesting to compare the attire between Japanese and North American railroad engineers! Also, the Japanese passenger locomotive cabs are more like an aircraft than what we are used to seeing. Thanks for sharing.

I like the "Sun Roof" and hope that the air conditioner is up to handling all of that glazing. Note the driver is not wearing sun glasses !

I'd gladly take the empty seat on the right! This kind of cockpit reminds me of the large solariums created for various sci-fi spacecraft. I love it.
