WOW, awesome, stunning, wonderful, fantastic, beautiful, amazing & spectacular comes to my mind when looking at this shot. See, if you think outside the box, you capture a photo worthy of a SC, which is what you now have. Well done Alex. PCA vote from me.

Wow, Alex. This might be the best shot I've ever seen from you... Well deserving of a PCA, and I hope you get a POTW too. Flat out breath-taking.

Excellent mood and balance to the photograph. I think the short walk down the road not taken was well worth it. Thanks for sharing this one!

I concur, Photo of the Week! As you showed us on your I-phone over dinner last night, this night steam photo is just super AWESOME! Without the Black Widow Geep, it would be a very nice steam night photo but with the inclusion of the Gyralite-lit Geep in the background framed overhead by steam, your photograph is something now a little extra standout. Real bummed I didn't go out Friday night to join you and the Neves flashbulb party out in the Niles Canyon.

Wow, truly spectacular. The backlight really makes the loco stand out and the lighting is subtle and gorgeous! One of the best night photos I've ever seen!

Good thinking getting away from the flat light nuking that is normal in photo shoots. Well done.
