Great shot! Love those hammerhead SD45's. This shot was taken from the Marietta St. NW overpass, the location is commonly known as King plow due to the old King Plow factory on the other side of the overpass from this view.

The long hood was the front of these as Southern ordered them that way. On vintage Southern diesels the end with the Bell is the front, and some units got horns on both ends. Road units normally got the extra cost walkway lighting option as well.
