I love these low light shots, especially when there as well done as this. Add in an SP train, and you've got a winner.

Are you sure on that location? Sure looks a lot like Acton on the Saugus Line.

Do you have an approaching shot, John? It's a sweet photo, but this looks more like Soledad Canyon, not Cameron or anywhere near Tehachapi. Keep the great shots coming.

You guys could be right, but I was never a Saugus/Soladad guy -- whenever I had the time, I went to Tehachapi. I can only recall going the distance between Mojave and LA once, and that was following 4449 ('84?). You guys may remember that getting a shot of this tank train was a hot ticket back then and this was the only time I saw it. I could have spotted it during a Tehachapi trip, chased it, got the shot, then headed back to Mojave. In my excitement, I could easily have gotten the location confused. The slide is labeled Cameron, but I was not the best record keeper. Let's see if anyone else says the same thing, and I'll change the data. Thanks for your interest!
