Wow Charles, this is quite a shot! Not much left down in this cut these days, save for one very overgrown track that hasn't seen a train in years.

Great shot of the final era for the former CNJ mainline east of Aldene/Cranford, N.J. Track is now impassable, as it is now a jungle of brush and trees.

As for the "impassable" track, I'd add they have removed ALL four tracks in front of the old Elizabeth station, so trains couldn't go too far from here even if vegetation hadn't made the tracks through here impassable.
