I remember catching glimpses of the Turcot Yard action from the bus from Chateauguay on Upper Lachine Road above the yard. Even better was taking the NYC commuter train into Windsor Station. I would later work as a brakeman out of the new yard west of Turcot, but the steamers were gone by then. My first paid trip was on an FM C-Liner.
