Thanks for the PCA votes guys, it’s a kick to get recognized by your colleagues. I first tried this shot last January at my annual Tracks in the Snow event where Dave Honan, Steve Carter and I were trying to think of something besides the same night shot at Scenic we’ve all taken before. Personally I think all the shot was missing back in January was snow on the trees which Dave was able to beat me to in March.
So when we got a little lowland snow at the beginning of the month I knew this would be the last chance until December. I headed up after work, and after 3 or 4 hours there was just enough snow on the trees to bring them out in the shot and then finally a westbound appeared. Thanks again for the votes, Ross.
