Nice photo. Good to see clean new units. It makes me wonder about the purchase of new locomitives at a time when so many serviceable units are stored due to reductions in available work.

This photo really catches my eye. Being nice, clean, and new UP locomotives. Out west (east of here) UP's units are all coated in a thick layer of soot and ash from heavey coal service on Moffat. Some are so bad, you almost think they are Ex/ SP units from a distance. Excelent picture sir.
