Gosh - this brings back memories. I seem to remember that LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee 'Bahamas' and LNER 4-6-2 A4 'Bittern' were also kept in the former Great Central Railway(?) engine shed off picture to the right around this time. The wires in the background look like the original overhead 1500v dc catenary from the Woodhead Tunnel route through the Penine Hills? Britain's first all-electric main line....
