Early GE junk at it's best! Great job! I'm amazed that GE is still competitive today considering their early offerings.

Nice shot, Donald... but that lil' Merc belonged alongside the EL (seeing as there was a good chance it was built in Mahwah). Really enjoying all of your early Conrail stuff.

And an N&W box car too boot. Great shot. Although that was not exactly a crowning achievement for Ford/Mercury.

Great shot Donald. I had that same car (in ford form) only about two years ago same color w/302 v/8. All that one needs is the Penn Centeral logo on the door.

I wonder if the Mercury version got the $2 fix necessary to keep it from going up like a roman candle due to a rear end hit.
