The old Syracuse junction. Alot of things missing in this photo. There used to be an interlocking tower just right of the locomotives in the 80's. The DL&W tunnel that went under the right of way 20 cars back was filled in for safety. And not a single signal on that massive signal bridge in the background.

Great photo and comment. I stood on this very over pass last August dodging traffic and shooting trains. I had wondered how it looked in the past, now I have a good idea and learned about a tunnel used years past, thanks. Rob
