That's a pretty wild photo, I say! Amazing that even the signal still stands to this day. How long ago was the last train through this area?

This line is still owned by NS, and from what I can gather, the last train to cross the diamond was in the early 1990's. Rumors are abound about reopening the line, but I'll believe it when I see it.

With the state of the economy, I highly doubt that the line will open back up anytime soon, although NS is wise enough not to tear it up, as the need to reopen it just may come about.
