Fantastic time piece, John. I drove along the right of way and under the freeway bridges here last September. Both the foreground and the skyline are very different today. Thanks for posting.

In my dreams, one day I'll get to ride a train on this run again... maybe not... but that's what dreams are for... thanks so much for posting this terrific image of what was.

I grew up in that area. Though I wasn't born when this picture was taken. However it is very interesting to see this area without the freeway there. Also I noticed they have not built the Bank of America building yet either.
