Several have been removed on the Seattle Subdivision over the past couple of years, in favor of trackside signals. This isn't to say that overhead signal bridges are a thing of the past, as can be seen along Airport Way in Seattle at Control Points Argo, Bailey, Rhodes and Boeing (to name just a few).
