Always a good sign when someone starts my morning off on a good note, and this stellar image sure is one !!!

Very nice, Mitch! What a crisp white plume.

Great shot Mitch- I just love how much shadow detail is possible with digital and this photo is a perfect example. Taken on the sun side one would lose the depth perspective of the train and nice detail on the coaches.

Just your basic great classic winter runby shot....on the dark side to boot. Well done.

Classic shot right there Mitch. Convert it to B&W, tell people it was taken in the 40's, and no one would know the difference!

This is a cracker, Mitch! Perfect framing of a classic winter scene. Gets my PCA.

I just keep coming back to this shot. 3254 looks lighter than air and is moving like a rocket. Engineer Aaron Stout has her hooked up in Company notch making a perfect plume of cotton candy that freezing day. The off-center compo, the dark side, the clarity, the color make this an outstandingly perfect 3/4 steam locomotive shot.
