Steve - nice photo perspective! I guess every state has their unique motorists that feel they can 'beat the train', 'can drive around the flashing lights', 'think that the train can stop on a dime', etc.......

Even if your car is powerful you will get stuck in the wrong place at one point or another just to become another picture in the obituary.
