Wow it's so great that CN can run a santa train on the former IC and GTW districts, but no longer run one on the former WC because it "costs too much."
Great picture though. The IC E unit's look great in the snow!

You know, for being my most acclaimed shot on this site, it really isn't my favorite. I'm glad everyone enjoys it, but honestly, it wasn't that hard to get, I only had to go five minutes from my house to get it...and the opportunity presents itself every year. Really the hardest part about this was braving subzero temperatures for only a brief 10 or so minutes before the train arrived.
But in retrospect, living away from this scene now, I have a much greater appreciation to the history and scenery that I could find in my backyard.
