Well, for delivery to CDOT. There wasn't a "Metro North" until 1983.

Good point. I should have known being sent to Harmon and North White Plain on special duty as Conrail employee in 1979.

Knowing I was a teenager when those now retired M2s were brand new kinda makes me feel old, lol.
