Does something look funny about this SD40-2? Check out the number indicator boxes. For some reason, whenever the Milwaukee had to repair that item, they created their own and always set the glass window too high. The EMD original, and parts department replacement issue, has the glass situated at the bottom of the box.

The thing that catches my eye is the high iron this Milwaukee Road train is riding upon. Guess they had some. Nice photo Chris.
