Thanks for posting these classic images Marty. Actually, this GP40 is Illinois Central (and not Illinois Central Gulf). Note the split-rail logo on the nose.

Has the RR Donnelly building been razed? In the early 90's I made regular trips past there on the way to Children's Mem. Hospital and seems to me I remember it being razed. I could be wrong.
