Great photo of a really interesting piece of equipment! I've read that this car has recently been made available for sale by the Monticello museum; I guess if you're interested, you can be the first on your block to own a CTA articulated "L" car!

This car ended up getting scrapped and salvaged for parts for use on the car at the Illinois Railway Museum. Its a sad ending, but hopefully the car at IRM can be restored to operating condition because of it.
