Very interesting shot! I notice that the pantographs are in the lowered positon. Yet, there is no third rail in the New Rochelle area. Those pans should be up all the way to Woodlawn. Was the train moving? Hmm.

Very observant. The pans are down because the train is traveling through an interlocking plant.
